Construction:

• Tentatively scheduled to begin on June 19, 2023  
•  Scheduled to begin on July 10, 2023.
• Construction will begin on Monday, July 31, 2023.
• Monday September 21, 2023 - Contractor will demo ADA ramps on Depot St & Wilkes St.
• Tuesday September 22, 2023 - Contractor will pour concrete on Depot St & Wilkes St.
• Week of September 25-29, 2023 - Tentative schedule to grind and pave Depot St and Wilkes St area.
• Week of October 2-5, 2023 - Installing Fire Hydrant, finish installing services.
• Week of October 9-12, 2023 - Sidewalk demo on Wilkes Street from Main Street to Parmley Avenue, prepping curb & sidewalks for concrete.
• Week of October 16-20, 2023 - Paving base lift on water service lines, testing water line, prepping curbs and sidewalks for concrete on Wilkes Street, pour curbs from Wilkes Street to Park Street, pour curbs on Park Street to Parmley Avenue, demo and repour ADA ramps on Depot Street, convert existing water service to new water service, tie into the waterline on Park Street, Woodman Avenue and Parmley Avenue, abandon existing waterlines.
• October 17-18, 2023 - The final tie-ins will happen on Woodman Avenue/Parmley Avenue and Park Street/Wilkes Street.
  This will cause all customers on Woodman Avenue and Parmley Avenue to be out of water until the tie in is complete.  
  This will result in a complete depressurization of the water line, meaning the City will be issuing a boil water notice as soon as the water is restored. All affected properties will receive a door hanger with the information about the boil water notice.
  Water samples will be immediately taken and brought to the lab for testing.  We generally receive results from the lab within 48 hours.
  All affected homes will be notified when the boil water notice is lifted.
• October 17-18, 2023  - Curb and Gutter is scheduled to be poured along Wilkes Street.  This means all customers from Main Street, to Parmley Avenue, on the north side of Wilkes (Odd numbered addresses and 13222 Park, 13215 Park, 13222 Main) will not have access through their driveways while the concrete cures. For the concrete to cure properly,  the contractor asks that property owners do not drive on the concrete for two full days.  Affected homeowners may park along Wilkes Street, Park Street and Parmley Avenue overnight. Work will begin around 8 am on these days, and all vehicles on Wilkes Street, Parmley Avenue and Park Street will need to be move prior to work starting.
• October 19-26, 2023 - Water meters will be moved to the new service lines. This will cause water outage from anywhere to 30 minutes to 2 hours per home.  Door hangers with information are being distributed to the homes that will be affected. Staff will knock on doors prior to cutting off water. 
• Week of October 23-27, 2023 - Convert existing water service to new water service, tie into the waterline on Park Street, Woodman Avenue and Parmley Avenue, abandon existing waterlines, grind and inlay Wilkes Street, Parmley Avenue and Depot Street (Weather permitting) beginning on Depot Street, Pave back flag lot and Woodman Alley (Weather permitting).
• October 24-25, 2023 - Demo and pour of ADA ramps on Depot Street.  
• October 26-27, 2023 - Grinding on Wilkes Street and Depot Street. There will be little to no access to residences between 7:00 am - 5:00 pm on these days.  Please park on Woodman Avenue, Park Street, Sunset Avenue, Main Street or Commerce street. (NO PARKING ON WILKES STREET, PARMLEY AVENUE OR DEPOT STREET).
• October 30, 2023 - Paving on Wilkes Street and Depot Street. (NO PARKING ON WILKES STREET PARMLEY AVENUE OR DEPOT STREET).
• Week of October 30 - November 3, 2023 - Prep sidewalks and approaches for concrete, pour concrete sidewalks and approaches, backfill meter boxes, striping (Weather permitting).
• November 1, 2023 - Paving on Woodman Avenue and Parmley Avenue. There will be little to no access to residents between 7:00 am - 5:00 pm on these days. Please park on Wilkes Street, Park Street, or Sunset Avenue. NO PARKING ON WOODMAN AVENUE OR PARMLEY AVENUE.
• November 6-10, 2023 - Prep sidewalks and approaches in multiple areas of the project. Pour concrete sidewalks and approaches in multiple areas of the project. Striping (Weather permitting).
• November 9-10, 2023 - Finish pouring concrete sidewalks and approaches. Striping work to be done on Wilkes Street and Depot Street. NO PARKING ON WILKES STREET OR DEPOT STREET BETWEEN 7:00 AM -5:00 PM. 
• November 13-17, 2023 - Punch list items.
• November 20-24, 2023 - Punch list items.
• November 27-December 1, 2023 - Punch list items.

Completion Date: 

• Target completion date is Spring 2024 - Grinding and overlay the streets.  Project could be completed by the end of November if the weather is favorable.
