Public Works Department

The City of Banks Public Works Department maintains and operates the city's water system, as well as maintaining our city parks, and city streets.

Clean Water Services provides street sweeping services once a month thru out the year, to prevent debris from entering the storm drain system, and keep our streets clean and debris free.  In the fall , the street sweeper will pick up leaves that have "naturally" fallen into the street.  HOWEVER, they are not able to sweep up large piles (raked) leaves that are placed in the street. Leaves may be disposed of by putting them in your yard debris container.
