TSWCD Rainwater Harvesting Virtual Workshop
Rainwater harvesting is the practice of collecting water as it falls on structures or other impervious surfaces and storing it for later use. Managing rainwater allows us to utilize the water falling on our homes and landscapes, even during the dry season. It also prevents rainwater from running off and picking up pollutants like trash, pet waste, pesticides, and manure, and bringing them to nearby rivers, lakes, and creeks.
Join us as we discuss residential rainwater harvesting options for spaces big and small! We’ll examine rain barrels, cisterns and much, much more.
