Volunteers needed for the City of Banks Planning Commission
The City of Banks is accepting applications from persons interested in filling a position on the City of Banks Planning Commission.
The Planning Commission consists of 7 voting members. The term for Planning Commission positions are 3 years. Planning Commission Meeting are held on the last Tuesday of each month at 6:30pm. Voting members at the time of their nomination, appointment, and tenure in office, shall be residents of the city, except that 2 members of the Planning Commission may be persons who reside outside of the city within the Banks Urban Growth Boundary, or within the Banks Urban Reserve Area. Planning Commission Members shall receive no compensation for their services as Planning Commissioners. The Planning Commission is responsible for making recommendations to the City Council on issues relating to the Comprehensive Plan, Zoning and Planning Ordinances, UGB ,Urban Reserve, and other planning issues.
