Traffic School
The City of Banks Municipal Court does not offer diversion (Traffic School) unless you meet all the following criteria:
- Juvenile (under 18 and still in school)
- First time offense
You must appear before the judge and request traffic school. You will be required to pay an administration fee (determined based on class of citation) and register through Court Services Institute (CSI). If class has not been completed and certificate provided by the deadline given by the judge or if another citation is received within six months, the offer is void and the original citation fee stands. No refunds on administrative fees.
You may enter a Not Guilty Plea. If you enter a Not Guilty plea, a trial will be set for a later date and time. If you are found GUILTY at the time of trial, you will not have the program offered to you.
