Cultural Pass to Adventure
A Library Experience Without Borders
Each Cultural Pass to Adventure is available for a one-day checkout from your local Washington County public library. Passes should be reserved in advance. You must pick up and return the pass to the same library. Each pass provides free admission to one of the destinations listed below. Some restrictions may apply. Check with your library for further details.
Children's Museum/CM2
Located in Portland's family-friendly Washington Park, the CM2 provides children with
the hands-on tools for exploration, artistic self-expression and development of their
imagination. The Cultural Pass admits a family (two adults and children under 12)

Chinese Classical Garden
The Garden of Awakening Orchids, Portland's Classical Chinese Garden is located in the
heart of Chinatown. It has been called the most exquisite, authentic Suzhou-style
garden ever built outside China. The Cultural Pass allows two adults and all

The Japanese Garden
Nestled in the scenic west hills of Portland is a haven of tranquil beauty, which has
been proclaimed one of the most authentic Japanese gardens outside Japan. The
Cultural Pass allows 2 adults and children under 17 from the same household into the

Sports Hall of Fame ** New **
The best of athletics embodies those traits we call Character. The Oregon Sports
Hall of Fame built the Oregon Sports Museum to teach and reinforce these values and life
lessons. Throughout the Museum you will find great stories of great people, told in
print and video. There are several hands-on, interactive exhibits that you and old
alike can enjoy. And Oregon and world history is told through the lens of

Pittock Mansion
In an idyllic setting high above the city of Portland, Henry and
Georgiana Burton Pittock built their magnificent family home, completed in 1914.
Henry Pittock crossed the Oregon Trail in his teens, barefoot and penniless, became the
owner and publisher of The Oregonian. The mansion is an architectural treasure and
lives today as a romantic reminder of a time that will never come again. Call (503)

The Portland Art Museum
The Portland Art Museum hosts a diverse collection of art from contemporary to
European masters. Located in the hart of Portland's downtown cultural district you
can enjoy the open-air sculpture garden or the numerous interior galleries. The
Cultural Pass admits two adults and four children under the ages of 18. Closed

Rocks and Minerals are an important part of the earth we share as well as the
environment and economy we enjoy. The Rice Northwest Museum of Rocks and Minerals
was founded by Richard L. and Helen M. Rice in 1996 for the express purpose of passing on
to present and future generations the opportunity to obtain knowledge and pleasure from
